2 Step PRO v2 Account Resets, How They Work

How 2-Step Pro V2 resets work, which stages can be reset, the 14-day reset window and the reset fees per account size.

Written by Arjie

The 2-Step Pro V2 reset feature allows you to restart your account after it becomes breached. This provides flexibility and allows you to continue from the stage you previously reached instead of always starting from the beginning.

Resets are available for Phase 1, Phase 2, and Funded accounts, with pricing depending on the stage of the account. The further the account has progressed, the higher the reset price, because you are able to bypass earlier phases of the evaluation.

Reset window: a reset can only be requested after an account has been breached and must be completed within 14 days of the breach. Funded accounts that have received an approved payout are not eligible for a reset.

Once breached, the account becomes inactive and trading is no longer possible until the reset is completed.

How Resets Work by Phase

Reset Type

What Happens

Pricing

Phase 1 Reset

You receive a new Phase 1 account and restart from the beginning of Phase 1

Lowest priced reset option

Phase 2 Reset

You receive a new Phase 2 account. Phase 1 does not need to be completed again; you continue directly from Phase 2

Slightly higher than a Phase 1 reset, because it skips Phase 1

Funded Reset

You receive a new funded account. Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 are skipped and trading can resume immediately on the funded stage

Higher than challenge resets, because both evaluation phases are bypassed

Note: funded accounts that have received an approved payout are not eligible for a funded reset.

When a Reset Can Be Used

A reset may be used when an account becomes breached, for example due to:

  • Maximum drawdown breach

  • Daily loss limit breach

  • Max soft breach limit

Once breached, trading is disabled on the account until it is reset.

What Happens During a Reset

When a reset is applied:

  • A new fresh account is created

  • The starting balance resets to the original amount

  • Equity and drawdown levels reset

  • Profit progress resets to zero

  • All rules and parameters return to default

The new account will start at the same stage that was reset.

Important Notes

  • Resets do not act as refunds

  • Resetting an account does not change trading rules

  • Phase resets allow you to restart from the same stage you breached

  • Funded resets allow you to skip both evaluation phases

  • Reset availability does not guarantee successful completion of the program

  • Resets can be done within 14 days of breaching the account

  • Funded accounts with an approved payout are not eligible for a reset

  • Any purchased add-ons will not carry over to the reset account
