Profit Target and Risk Management:

  • Profit Target: Achieve a 10% profit from your starting balance.

  • Max Daily Loss: 4% (hard breach).

  • Max Trailing Drawdown: 7% (hard breach).

Trading Rules:

  • Trading Days: Unlimited (no time limit to complete the challenge).

  • Minimum Profitable Trading Days: At least 3 profitable trading days are required.

  • Expert Advisors (EAs): Allowed, but must be your own unique EA. You cannot use the same EA as other traders placing identical trades.

  • Stop-Loss: Required for each trade unless an add-on is purchased (soft breach).

  • Inactive Account: You must place a trade at least once every 30 days (hard breach).

  • Prohibited Strategies: Ensure you do not violate any prohibited trading strategies.

Specifications:

  • Assets Available: Available instruments can be found here. No stocks are available for trading.

  • Leverage:

    • FX: 10:1

    • Metals: 10:1

    • Oils & Indices: 10:1

    • Cryptocurrencies: 2:1

  • EquityShield Protection:

    • If your daily loss exceeds 2% on open trades for any one symbol, or 2.5% across all symbols, EquityShield will automatically close your trades in most cases to protect your account.

Defining a Profitable Day:

A profitable day is defined as having a net gain of at least 0.5% of the initial balance.
Example: For a $10,000 account, a profitable day would require a minimum profit of $50.

Daily Loss Limit Calculation:

At 5 p.m. EST each day, the higher of your account balance or equity is used to calculate the daily loss limit for the next day, subtracting 4% of your initial balance.

Withdrawals and Maximum Drawdown:

When you withdraw your profits from your 1-Step account, Top One Trader will also withdraw its share of the gains. After withdrawal, your maximum drawdown will be locked at your starting balance and remain static regardless of future growth in your account.

Trading Platforms:

  • Platforms Available: Match Trader, Trade Locker, cTrader.

Special Note for cTrader Users:

cTrader strictly prohibits U.S. traders. Any trader accessing cTrader from a U.S. IP address will have their account immediately hard breached.
