X-1-Step-DAILY – Equity Shield, Lot Limits & Stop Loss

Risk limits on open trades: per symbol, all open trades, lot size and stop loss.

Written by Lars

Next to the daily and max drawdown, X-1-Step-DAILY has a few risk limits on your open trades. These are soft breaches: the trades involved are closed, but your account is not failed and you can keep trading.

  • If the open loss on one symbol reaches 2% of your starting balance, all trades on that symbol are closed.

  • If the open loss on all your trades together reaches 2.5% of your starting balance, all open trades are closed.

Equity Shield is a risk tool, not a stop loss. In fast markets, slippage can mean trades close beyond the limit. Always use your own stop loss.

Stop loss required

Every trade must have a stop loss. Trades without a stop loss count as a soft breach.
