At Top One Trader, managing risk is a crucial part of successful trading. For this reason, we have set maximum lot size limits on all Instant Funded Accounts. These limits are designed to ensure traders use consistent, professional strategies while minimizing excessive risk.

Max Lot Size Limits by Account Size:

  • $1,250 account: Max 0.25 lots

  • $2,500 account: Max 0.5 lots

  • $5,000 account: Max 1 lot

  • $10,000 account: Max 2 lots

  • $20,000 account: Max 4 lots

  • $40,000 account: Max 8 lots

The maximum lot exposure refers to the total combined lot/position size allowed at any one time on the account. This limit ensures traders maintain disciplined risk management across their trades.

Why Do We Have This Rule?

This rule is in place to promote consistent trading behavior and discourage excessive risk-taking. By limiting lot exposure, we help minimize risky, toxic, and "YOLO" trading strategies that could jeopardize your trading account. Our goal is to support traders in becoming long-term, consistent, and professional in their approach to the financial markets.

Conclusion

By adhering to these lot size limits, you ensure that your trading remains within acceptable risk parameters and aligns with professional trading practices. This approach helps you build consistent profits over time and develop sustainable trading habits. If you have any questions about lot size limits, don’t hesitate to contact our support team.
