How Weekend Holding Works

Traders are allowed to:

  • Keep trades open after market close on Friday

  • Hold positions throughout the weekend

  • Maintain trades when markets reopen

There is no requirement to close positions before the weekend.

What to Expect Over the Weekend

When holding trades over the weekend:

  • Markets are closed, and positions cannot be managed

  • Prices may gap when markets reopen

  • Stop Loss or Take Profit levels may be executed at different prices due to volatility

This is a normal market condition and applies to all traders.

Important Notes

  • Weekend holding is allowed in all stages of the 2-Step Amped program

  • Traders are fully responsible for managing risk when holding positions over the weekend

  • All standard rules remain active, including:

    • Daily drawdown

    • Max trailing drawdown

    • Max open risk

  • Market gaps can result in larger than expected losses or gains

Summary

  • Weekend holding is allowed in Phase 1, Phase 2, and Funded

  • There is no requirement to close trades before the weekend

  • Traders can freely hold positions across market closures

  • Risk management remains the trader’s responsibility
